KBS+P Canada adds six to its Toronto team. Casacom appoints a COO.

A recap of who’s headed where in Canadian marketing and communications.

SEAN GANANN joined Crispin Porter + Bogusky Toronto as creative director from Zulu Alpha Kilo, where he held the same title for a little over a year. He has held positions at Campfire in New York and Saatchi & Saatchi Australia. Ganann was also instrumental in building the creative department at Australian digital shop NetX.

SARA HILL is stepping down as president of M2 Universal at the end of June. Hill has been with M2 parent MacLaren McCann Canada since 1979, succeeding longtime president Hugh Dow in 2008. Hill’s replacement has not been named.

KBS + P Canada added six people to its creative team following a string of account wins including Target and Sun Life in Quebec. NOREEN SANTILI, who was with Chiel Canada for four years, joins the agency’s Toronto office as associate creative director, alongside NICOLE ELLERTON and MARK LEWIS, both from Taxi. Creative directors MARISSA MASTENBROEK and LYRANDAS MARTIN EVANS join from Saatchi & Saatchi, while TRAVIS COWDY joins as head designer on the Target account.

STEPHANIE FENNELL joined Taxi’s Toronto office as its global director of HR, a new position within the agency. Fennell was most recently the VP of HR at BBDO/Proximity and prior to that was the HR manager at Grip.

Casacom appointed MANON DESROSIERS to the position of chief operating officer to oversee the management of the agency’s Montreal and Toronto offices. Desrosiers has held several director positions at companies including MÉDIANOR, CNW Telbec  and most recently, Randstad Canada.

Toronto web services company, Percy3D, hired RICHARD FREEDHOFF as its director of business development. During his 23-year career, Freedhoff has held senior level positions at Hip Interactive, Sega Canada and Sony.

ERIC ARMINJON joined the Montreal’s Magenta Studio Photo as vice-president sales and marketing and creative director. Arminjon was most recently vice-president and creative director for Dans un Jardin. Prior to that he ran his own advertising agency called Tournesol.
