AOL Canada boosts its editorial and sales team. Natalie Larivière joins V Interactions.

AOL Canada added members to its editorial and sales teams as it prepares to launch The Huffington Post in Alberta and British Colombia. SYDNEY ROBERTSON and JEFFREY WOOD joined as account executive and account manager, respectively, and work out of the company’s Toronto office. TANYA ILIAKIS, who worked with AOL for two years as an account executive, is now the Western Canada account executive. Additionally, Huffington Post added ANDREE LAU, MICHELLE BUTTERFIELD and PATRICK BELLEROSE to its editorial teams.
Quebec-based TV production and broadcast company V Interactions appointed NATALIE LARIVIERE as executive vice-president and chief operating officer to oversee its television and digital platforms. Larivière was most recently president at TC Media. She starts her new position Aug. 1.
After two years as a junior digital strategist with Taxi Canada’s Toronto office, RIO PENABELLA joined Roundhouse in Portland, Oregon as a strategist. His industry experience includes stints at Mediaedge, Youthography and McDonald’s.
H+K Strategies Alberta hired CATHERINE KEILL as a senior account director. Over the past 15 years Kiell has worked with the Government of Canada, the Government of Alberta, the City of Edmonton, and in the non-profit, corporate and political sectors. She was most recently the deputy chief of staff to the Edmonton mayor. Kiell starts her new position July 30.
Brookline PR in Calgary added one new member to its team and promoted two of its own. SOPHIE PILON joined the firm as an account specialist, while JESSICA MORAN and ROBYN MACLEAN have been promoted to account supervisor and account executive, respectively.
