Newad in Vancouver adds two new members to its team. TBWA\Toronto gains a digital guru.

A recap of who’s headed where in Canadian marketing and communications.

TBWA\Toronto hired JENNIFER SIMPSON to lead its digital production and social media arts practices that launched earlier this summer. Simpson has over a decade of experience in the digital space and has held positions at Taxi, Henderson Bas and Sapient.

AMANDA BURGESS joined Narrative PR as senior account director. She was most recently an account director with High Road Communications on the American Express and Microsoft accounts. During her career she has also worked as a journalist, publicist and marketer.

Olive Media promoted KAREN WANG from sales manager to director of sales to oversee sales operations within English Canada. Wang joined the company in 2006 as a sales executive. Her career stints include sales positions at AOL, Yahoo and Toronto.com. In her new role, she has 10 reps and two managers reporting to her.

Korrelation Communications promoted DALIAH HIJAZI to senior consultant. She’s now responsible for client and employee relations as well as new business development. Hijazi worked with She The Siren Group as an account coordinator prior to joining Korrelation earlier this year.

Newad’s Vancouver office promoted MARK RUSSELL from account executive to senior account executive and hired ADRIENNE BRAULT as an account executive. Prior to Newad, Russell held positions at Wasserman + Partners Advertising and Inventa. Brault is a recent grad from UBC’s Sauder School of Business.
