A recap of who’s headed where in Canadian marketing and communications.

BIMM Communications hired ALYSSA HUGGINS as vice-president of its new retail division. Huggins was with Cossette for five years, and most recently held the VP, national brand leader position. In this role, Huggins led the P&G and Future Shop accounts. She has also worked at ACLC, Deutsch Advertising and Sharpe Blackmore Euro RSCG.

Isobar Canada added three members to its team. ANDY LUMSDON joined as associate creative director from Fuse Marketing Group where he held the same title for five years. HITEN PATEL joined as design director. Patel was most recently art director/digital lead at Grip. RYAN LAFLAMME joined Isobar as community manager from Sonic Boom where he held the social media copywriter position for nearly a year.

FCV promoted SIMON HARDY to the newly created role of vice-president creative to oversee the creative teams in the Vancouver and Toronto offices. He has also held positions at Blast Radius, TBWA\Vancouver and TBWA\London.

DANNY BLOOMFIELD left Ogilvy Healthworld after 17 years to join Montreal agency Tank as creative director, pharma. Bloomfield has held copywriter positions at agencies such as Sudler and Hennessey, Gail Communications Inc., McCabe Advertising and Crown Life.

Jam3 hired MICHAEL DOBELL as executive producer and LILY-ANN LEE as producer. Dobell has been working with the agency for the past four months on a freelance basis. He was with Juniper Park prior to this. LEE spent the last two and a half years working as a freelance producer for Toronto agencies including Saatchi & Saatchi, DDB, BBDO and Ogilvy. Lee worked at Meld Media and Shaw Media prior to her freelance gig.

CINDY SON joined Dare Vancouver as director of technology. She spent the last five years at Zeros 2 Heroes Media, most recently as director of technology. She has also held positions at Active Logic, Business Objects and CJSF radio station.
