MacLaren McCann Vancouver hires Hall. Rogers Media hires Mancini.

MacLaren McCann in Vancouver appointed industry veteran JOHN HALL to senior vice-president, director of media innovation. Hall has nearly 20 years experience with consumer research, strategy, digital and CRM across a range of industries including automotive, financial, communications, food/beverage and tourism. Hall has held senior level positions at Y&R, Cossette and most recently Dare Digital where he served as managing partner.
MICHKA MANCINI left CBC and joined Rogers Media as vice-president, digital sales as part of a new sales structure implemented by the media company earlier this month. In her new role, Mancini will lead one of Rogers Media’s five agency groups and help drive revenue targets. She will also be responsible for developing cross-platform solutions and opportunities for clients.
Saatchi & Saatchi Canada officially announced the arrival of three new members to its creative team. MICHELLE ORLANDO joined the agency as head of production from John St. where she held the head of broadcast position. Creative duo MATT ANTONELLO and JOEL ARBEZ joined as creative group heads. Arbez was most recently with Rethink and Antonello spent seven years with at DDB Canada.
Toronto agency Rivet hired GREG HAMILTON as senior art director. During his decade-long career, Hamilton has worked on large profile brands such as Chrysler, Scotiabank, Nestlé, Home Depot, Virgin Mobile and Pfizer.
SARAH BAIN joined Hill+Knowlton Strategies’ public engagement group in Ottawa as a senior account director after working more than five years in communications at the federal and municipal levels. Bain has experience managing media relations activities, public events and advising on municipal-government outreach.
