Aegis Media Canada welcomes a new CSO. FleishmanHillard Toronto appoints a senior vice-president and partner.

Untitled Films added director DREW LIGHTFOOT to its roster of Canadian talent. Lightfoot has shot commercials, TV-shows and feature films as a stop-motion animator including a role as lead animator on Tim Burton’s The Corpse Bride. He has also worked on commercials for brands such as Volkswagen, Sonly Playstation and Bud Light.

Aegis Dentsu promoted MISTY LOCKE to president of iProspect Americas, a newly created position spanning the Americas including Canada. In her new role, Locke will be charged with growing the iProspect network and brand throughout the Americas. She will also retain her current role as global chief marketing and performance officer – a role she has held for the past two years.

Aegis Media Canada appointed SASHA GRUJICIC as chief strategy officer. Grujicic joined Aegis Media in 2006, and quickly worked his way up the ranks. Over the past seven years he has also held the SVP group strategy and EVP, group head of strategy, digital and insight positions. He also spent time at the Aegis-owned digital agency, Isobar.

Your Brand Integrated Marketing Communications promoted one and added three new members to its team. ASHLEY CALAPATIA, who joined the agency’s media relations team in 2011, was promoted to director of communications. ERIKA ZUPKO and MICHELLE DEBIQUE were hired as integrated marketing associates, while NEIVE LENIHAN joined as an integrated marketing coordinator.

TARA MCCARTHY joined FleishmanHillard’s Toronto team as senior vice-president and partner, consumer marketing communications. McCarthy spent the last seven years as vice-president of Strategic Objectives, and served as vice-president of Cossette before that.

Hill+Knowlton Strategies in Calgary promoted TABETHA BOOT to account director. Prior to joining H+K, Boot worked for Whistler Blackcomb as manager of PR and communications.

TrojanOne hired ROB NADLER as vice-president, strategic partnerships and JULIA ALLEN as director of special events. Nadler will be responsible for overseeing agency marketing and business development and will manage strategic partnerships for clients. Allen will oversee all of the agency’s special events including the Canadian Sponsorship Forum.

Machinima appointed LINDA KESSLER to the role of senior director partner development, Canada. In her new role, Kessler will be responsible for growing the agency’s business in Canada. Kessler spent the last three years with WildTangent as VP sales, Canada.
