Olive Media appointed JEFF CLARK and MATTHEW WEINSTEIN as head of technology and head of partnerships and product development for mobile, respectively. Clark will lead the development and implementation of Olive’s technology strategy, while Weinstein develops and implements the company’s product road map for mobile advertising solutions.

Taxi Montreal hired CHRISTIAN QUENNEVILLE as general manager, effective Feb. 7. Quenneville leaves his current post as vice-president and executive director at Montreal’s Nurun. He fills the role vacated by Yves Blain last November.

SARAH SOTEROFF left her role as manager of communications at Euro RSCG/MPG Canada to join DAC Group in Toronto. In her new role, Soteroff will manage communications for all of the agency’s offices including Calgary, Vancouver, Montreal, Cleveland and New York.

Shaw Media named JAMIE SCHOUELA as vice-president, marketing for Global and its 19 specialty television brands. Schouela was director of marketing strategy at Global before Shaw acquired it from Canwest a year ago. Prior to joining Canwest in 2005, Schouela held several marketing positions with Alliance Atlantis.

Strut Entertainment hired JONATHAN ELDER as a senior public relations and promotions manager to oversee the company’s public relations staff and participate in creative strategy for its lifestyle and brand activities. Elder was previously with Warner Music Canada.

Kia Canada promoted ROBERT STAFFIERI to director of marketing, overseeing all marketing, public relations and product planning functions. In his five years with the company, Staffieri has held a variety of positions including advertising and incentives manager, national sales manager and most recently national customer retention manager.

Cundari added four new members to its team. RAUL GARCIA and BRIAN MURRAY join as associate creative director/art director and senior copywriter, respectively, while MIKE SIPLEY and RAVI DINDAYAL join as associate creative director/art director, digital strategist, respectively.

Isobar Canada hired Sonic Boom co-founder MATT CARTER as its SVP, managing director. He spent the last five years with Citi Cards Canada as vice-president of e-business.
