BRUCE NEVE will take the CEO chair at Starcom Mediavest Group, effective May 30. Neve, the former president of MEC Canada, will be based in Toronto and report to Iain Jacob, president of dynamic markets, Starcom MediaVest Group. Neve replaces Lauren Richards who left the agency late last year.

Mobilicity hired ANTHONY BOOTH as its chief customer officer responsible for brand development and expanding the organization’s national distribution network. Booth was with Mars Canada for the last 11 years, holding several senior executive roles.

ROBERT ISEMAN joined Toronto agency Elemental as group account director. Iseman was most recently an advertising consultant with The Marketing Store, and prior to that worked as a director, account services at Publicis.

SapientNitro, an interactive marketing, creative design, and technology services agency, hired DAVID BRADFIELD as director of marketing strategy and analysis for its Toronto office. Prior to joining SapientNitro, Bradfield was at Fleishman-Hillard as SVP, senior partner where he launched and led digital teams in both New York and Toronto.

JENNIFER ROSSINI and DAVE TUPPER join Y&R’s Toronto office as associate creative directors, working on brands such as Ford Motor Company of Canada and Hershey’s. Rossini and Tupper join Y&R from John St. and Leo Burnett, respectively.

Montreal-based Videotron appointed YANN PAQUET to the position of vice-president of multiplatform content. Paquet was previously vice-president of digital media and strategic partnerships at Reader’s Digest.

Hill & Knowlton Canada added two new members to its Toronto office. ZACK SANDOR-KERR and SOMMER ELLIS join the full-service public relations firm as consultants. Sandor-Kerr was most recently at Burson-Marsteller in Sydney, Australia, while Ellis joins the firm from the University Health Network.

Public relations veteran MARGOT WHITE joined Weber Shandwick Canada as vice president and office leader in Vancouver. White was most recently the director of policy development and communications for the College of Dental Surgeons of BC.

Finally, RICHARD FREEDHOFF has joined Toronto’s Reason Partners as EVP, account management and business development. With previous posts at Sega and Sony Computer Entertainment of Canada, Freedhoff adds digital and video game expertise to the firm’s roster.
