JWT Canada named MICHAEL ANIBALLI vice-president, managing director of its digital practice. Aniballi hails from Wunderman, where he led the agency’s Microsoft and Diageo accounts as SVP of digital. He also spent seven years as executive vice-president at Publicis, launching the agency’s digital division in 2000.

BILL NEILL joined the National Post as an advertising consultant to expand the Post’s revenue opportunities in the Greater Toronto Area. Most recently, Neill led aerospace company MTI Global as president, CEO and chief financial officer.

Google Canada hired NIKKI GERMANY as head of industry – travel. Germany will be responsible for forging relationships with travel marketers and advertisers in Canada. She was most recently the managing director of Expedia’s corporate travel division in Canada.

Newad hired KIM STEINER as sales manager of Alberta, and promoted DAVID VANCE to sales manager of Ontario for indoor advertising. Steiner will oversee all sales operations, network development and media extension projects in Alberta. Vance will continue to work closely with the agency’s Toronto team.

KENNY YUM was named managing editor of all AOL Canada Channels, including Huffington Post Canada, which set to launch this spring. Yum helped launched GlobeAndMail.com and worked at NationalPost.com for nearly three years. He then returned to the Globe as editor of GlobeAndMail.com.

Handel Productions appointed ANDRE BARRO to vice-president and executive producer. Prior to joining Handel, he worked at Cirrus, Galafilm, Cineflix and Pixcom, where he oversaw the development, production and management of television programming.

GREGOIRE BARET joined Nurun Inc. as executive vice president of its Montreal office. Baret’s primary responsibilities will be to provide strategic, creative and consumer experience, and strengthen the agencies market position. Baret arrives from Razorfish in Paris where he most recently acted as a managing director.

Y&R appointed ROB GEE and ALEXIS VICTOR to director of creative technology, and creative curator, respectively. Gee arrives from Blammo and Victor joins from Hesty Reps.

Redux Media hired MIA PARENT and STEVE GIZMA as national account managers in Toronto. Parent was previously an account executive at Rogers Digital Media. Gimza was a national account executive at 24/7 Real Media.
