A recap of who’s headed where in Canadian marketing and communications.

KIRK ALLEN announced he is leaving Postmedia Networks to pursue other opportunities. He was executive vice-president of advertising sales.

DDB Canada’s Karacters Design Group hired CHRIS DALLIN as its new director of branding and design. Dallin was most recently with Red Rocket Creative Strategies where he led brand strategy. During his 20-year career, he also worked at Kontent Creative Group and 3One Media.

Starcom Mediavest Group has hired CAROLINE BRETON as VP, group media director in it Kraft One Team. She arrives from UM, where she served as VP, director of communications strategy on Johnson & Johnson.

SELMA FILALI joined Amuse as senior vice-president, managing director, a newly created position within the agency.  Filali was most recently at Newad as general manager and executive vice-president, experiential marketing, where she led the national sales team.

Vancouver agency Noise Digital added five new members to its team. KATHERINE ADAMKOWSKI joined as strategic account director, DAVID BELANGER joined as director, strategic services, CAROLYN FUNG joined as account manager, YAZ JALLAD joined as a web application developer, and KEN LEE joined the agency as a junior web developer.

Media Profile also welcomed five new members to its team. KAROLINA OLECHNOWICZ, MARIA CORTELLUCCI, STEPHANIE MUSTACHI and GINGR SHEWELL joined as account coordinators, while DISHNI JAYASURIYA joined the agency as a senior consultant.

Dentsu Canada appointed MICHAEL STOLLAR to account director. He will handle Toyota and Scion assignments. Stollar has held account supervisor positions at Draft FCB and Young & Rubicam.
