A recap of who’s headed where in Canadian marketing and communications.

DDB Canada hired JASON DUBROY to head its new shopper marketing operation called Shopper DDB. Dubroy was most recently vice-president of consumer and shopper strategy at Spider Marketing Communications. He has also worked at CIM and currently co-chairs the Canadian Shopper Marketing Forum conference.

STEVEN BICKLEY was named chief marketing officer and head of business development for Bell Media. Previously senior vice-president of products and pricing and vice-president of marketing for Bell Residential Services, Brickley’s new responsibilities begin immediately.

BlueSky Communications hired JAMIE SANDERS to media relations coordinator to implement strategic programs and PR campaigns. Sanders was most recently a writing consultant at Critical Consultants, and has also worked at Holmes Creative Communications.

National Public Relations added three new members to its team and promoted three of its own. JENNIFER LEE joined the agency’s financial communications practice as a senior consultant while LUC LEVASSEUR joined the corporate team as a senior consultant. ANNE MORELLO joined as a consultant in the technology practice. ELISABETH MOZEL-JURY was promoted to manager, health; MARK VON TOL was promoted to senior consultant, marketing; and AUDREY FARRELL was promoted to senior consultant, research.

JOE CONFORZI joined UM Canada as a senior media buyer, broadcast investments. He was previously with Media Experts as a media buyer.
