A recap of who’s headed where in Canadian marketing and communications.

Fuse Marketing Group Inc. added three new members to its team and promoted one of its own. ANDREW BRADLEY joined the agency as associate creative director, digital. He will also serve as associate creative director for Fuse’s sister agency, Quizative. RYAN HAMACHER joined the agency as print art director from DDB, while BROOK JOHNSTON, who was with the agency as an intern, was hired as a copywriter. ANDY LUMSDON was promoted from senior writer to associate creative director, integrated.

Extreme Group in Toronto promoted MIKE BEVACQUA from group account director to client services director. During his time at the agency, he has worked on the Grand & Toy, Quiznos Canada, Cadillac Fairview, and RIM accounts. During his decade-long career Bevaqua has worked at ALCL, BBDO, DraftFCB and Y&R.

Hollywood Suite appointed KERRY CONNELLY director of marketing. Connelly has over 10 years of marketing and new business development experience in the areas of new media, film and the arts. She was most recently at Vision Co. where she co-led the launch of the XM Satellite Radio brand in Canada.

Public relations agency Porter Novelli Canada added two consultants to its Toronto team. MICHELLE STEGNAR will work on health and wellness accounts such as Pfizer Canada, J&J Ethicon and the Almond Board of California. VERONICA LANGVEE will work on consumer accounts including Monster.ca in addition to various Procter & Gamble brands.

Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment promoted six of its own. JORDAN VADER was promoted to corporate sales director, responsible for new business development and partnership renewals for the Toronto Maple Leafs, Toronto Raptors, Air Canada Centre and Live Nation Canada. CHRIS SHEWFELT was promoted to corporate partnerships director for the Toronto FC, BMO Field and TFC Academy. MATT GODIN was promoted to manager of corporate partnership marketing, responsible for Air Canada, Ford, Rona, LG and IBM. STEPHANIE HILL and ALEXANDRA ASHTON were promoted to account executives for corporate partnership marketing, and BRYCE ELDRIDGE was promoted to sales analyst.

Punch Canada, a Toronto-based marketing and public relations agency promoted KELSEY GOTELL to account manager to work with clients including Benjamin Moore, Emirates Airline, The Bahamas, Tourism Saskatoon and Swedish cell provider Doro. NATALIE HUNT joined the agency as coordinator. She will provide account support on The Bahamas, Emirates, Benjamin Moore, and Toronto Sportsmen’s Show accounts.

FRANCOIS CRETE was appointed vice-president of Cohn & Wolfe Montreal. He was most recently chief of staff for Quebec’s Minister of Education, Recreation and Sports Line Beauchamp. He has also worked in the Culture and Communications, and Environment and Parks departments.
