Shortly after winning Molson Coors’ Canada, Rethink promoted PEMA HEGAN to national director of strategy and CALEB GOODMAN to managing director of its Toronto office. Goodman will manage office operations and head-up account services, while Hegan oversees the agency’s strategic direction in both Toronto and Vancouver.
SIMON CREET and TRENT FULTON are now co-managing directors of The Hive’s Toronto office, while the agency’s co-founding partner RICK SHAVER assumes the newly created title of senior VP and managing director of global partnerships. According to The Hive, these moves will strengthen the agency’s management team and position it for further international growth.
MSL Canada promoted SOPHIE MERVEN to VP, consumer, of its Montreal office. Merven will oversee client relationships and consumer team accounts as part of the senior executive team. Joining MSL’s Toronto office are NATALIA WILLIAMS and KAREN NUSSBAUM as senior account supervisors.
After nine years, SEAMUS O’REGAN is leaving his co-hosting duties on Canada AM to join CTV National News. CTV says a new Canada AM co-host will be announced Nov. 24, on O’Regan’s last day. He starts his new gig Nov. 28.
ELIANE TREMBLAY is the new sales and media integration director for Zoom Media’s Montreal Office. Tremblay started with the agency as an account executive 10 years ago and quickly moved into a management role to oversee marketing and media integration. Prior to Zoom Media, Tremblay worked in the radio industry and with advertising agency Cossette.
