SHAUN MCKENNA, former partner and executive vice-president at Consumer Impact Marketing (CIM), joined Mosaic as the senior vice-president, overseeing its Canadian sales and merchandising operations. Mosaic recently acquired the sales and merchandizing operations of CIM.
BRETT CHANNER, former chairman and executive creative director of Saatchi & Saatchi Canada, is now chief creative officer of a new Publicis-owned agency called Red Lion.
Montreal agency Newad acquired Media One and appointed LINO RICCO as vice-president and regional general manager – central Canada. Ricco is responsible for commercial and sales activities in Toronto.
BYRON GARBY appointed general manager of Bell Media Radio’s national sales division, which represents 46 stations across Canada. Prior to joining Bell Media, Byron was vice-president, sales for Milestone Broadcasting.
Rethink Communications’ Toronto office promoted JOEL ARBEZ to associate creative director and CHANTELLE BRINKLEY to account director. In the past, Arbez worked at Calgary agency Wax and Rethink Vancouver, while Brinkely did stints at BBDO/Proximity and Cossette.
JAMIE WERBY joined the publicity team for Shaw Media’s Global television network. Jamie was previously with Astral Media.
Newfoundland-based agency Target promoted TERRI ROBERTS to senior writer. Roberts has been part of the agency team for over 10 years, first starting in the PR department before moving over to the creative side. She has worked on the Newfoundland and Labrador Tourism, McCain, Irving Oil, Dalhousie University and Air Canada Jazz accounts.
