LUC TREMBLAY moved from radio to print. After eight years with Astral Media Radio Tremblay joined La Presse as vice-president, sales. He will also serve as president of Gesca Media Sales. In his new role, Tremblay will oversee advertising sales for all of La Presse’s media platforms as well as national sales for Gesca’s daily newspapers.
Digital veteran MIKE SHARMA joined Isobar Canada as senior vice-president and managing director, and will also work with fellow Aegis Group agencies Carat and Vizeum. Sharma was most recently at Society, etc., the firm he started in 2010. He has also held senior leadership roles at MSN Canada and led digital teams at Cossette and Zig (now Crispin Porter + Bogusky Canada).
After nearly two years, JODI KASTEN left her role as senior vice-president of marketing at The Weather Network to join Mindshare Canada as managing director. Kasten is responsible for the agency’s digital services and will report to Karen Nayler. During her career, Kasten has held positions at Microsoft Advertising Canada and business software company SAP.
Olive Media promoted NATHALIE BOUCHER from director of sales, Quebec to vice-president, Quebec. Prior to joining Olive Media in 2007, Boucher managed sales at SympaticoMSN as director of sales. In her new role, Boucher will lead a team of 15 out of the company’s Montreal office. She will continue to report to Olive Media president Simon Jennings.
Zoom Media appointed CAROLE ALALOUF as vice-president of strategic marketing and research. Since joining Zoom Media in 2002, Alalouf has held executive positions across several departments including venue development, operations, client services and strategic planning.
