Coca-Cola Refreshments appointed JOHN GUARINO as president, Coca-Cola Refreshments Canada, replacing KEVIN WARREN. Warren has joined the company’s Bottling Investments Group (BIG) as regional director for Russia, Middle East and Africa. Guarino has been with the company since 1997.
SHANE OGILVIE and ALLAN MAH joined Toronto agency Zulu Alpha Kilo as creative director and senior art director, respectively. Ogilvie was most recently at DDB Toronto, where he worked as an associate creative director for clients such as Capital One, the Canadian Cancer Society and Subaru. The agency also promoted associate creative director MARK FRANCOLINI to CD.
MacLaren Momentum appointed ROBYN GORMAN as president. She replaces John Ozikizler, who was president from 2007 until January of this year. Gorman will head up business development and client service, as well as work with agency partners.
After three years, YANIK DESCHENES retired as president and general manager of the Association des agencies de publicité du Québec (AAPQ) “to pursue other challenges within the industry.” DOMINIQUE VILLENEUVE assumed the role of interim general manager, having spent four years as director of corporate affairs for the industry group.
Toronto agency Entrinsic hired industry veteran ANTHONY WOLCH as its executive creative director. Wolch has held senior level positions at advertising agencies both in Canada and abroad. He was most recently with Brandworks International. He now leads a team of six and oversees all of the agency’s creative work.
Praxis promoted REBECCA FAIR from senior account executive to account director. Fair has been with the agency for two years, working on the Beam Global Spirits and PepsiCo accounts.
