TC Transcontinental appointed ALAIN GIGNAC to the newly-created position of chief marketing activation officer, effective March 5. The former president of BBDO Montreal will be responsible for integrating the company’s print and digital products and marketing solutions. He will report to Francois Olivier, president and CEO of TC Transcontinental.
BRAD FELT left his job as senior art director at Copeland Communications to start his own marketing, branding and design firm called CreativeJuices. Felt has 12 years graphic design experience having worked at agencies like Tugboat Media in Vancouver and Marsh Canada in Toronto.
Revolve hired BRUCE WHELAN to the newly-created position of co-creative director. Whelan left Cossette to join Matthew Allen at the helm of Revolve’s creative team. Whelan’s experience includes time at Extreme Group, where his work for the Nova Scotia Workers Compensation Board won a Cannes Lion.
Diamond Integrated Marketing appointed STEPHEN RANKIN to VP-client services. Rankin joined the agency in April 2011 as group account director. Prior to Diamond, Rankin was a group account director at Quadrant Marketing.
Environics added three new members to its Toronto office. NINA GODARD and YURI PARK joins the corporate and finance team as consultants while DUSTIN HAMILTON joins the healthcare team as an account coordinator.
Toronto Blue Jays Baseball Club hired NATALIE AGRO as its director, marketing services. Natalie has over 10 years of sport sponsorship and client experience, and has worked with various clients and properties across many industry sectors. During her carreer, Argo has workedwith the Canadian Football League, CBC Sports, as well as the Torino 2006 and Vancouver 2010 Olympic Winter Games.
