A recap of who’s headed where in Canadian marketing and communications.

Creative directors NATHAN MONTEITH and STEFAN WEGNER left Taxi Toronto, ending an 11-year partnership. Monteith joined DDB Chicago to lead the creative team on the Capital One account. Wegner is set to join Leo Burnett‘s Toronto office as creative director.

Vancouver agency Station X hired JOSH BUDD as creative director. Budd was most recently associate creative director at Cossette Toronto where he worked on accounts such as McDonald’s, Bank of Montreal, Future Shop and PlayStation. He replaces Brent Wheeler.

Aboriginal Peoples Television Network (APTN) appointed LISA SQUIRE director of marketing, effective immediately. Squire has been with APTN since 2007. She is based out of the network’s Winnipeg office.

GlassBOX Television appointed VANESSA CASE to executive vice-president, programming. Case was previously with Shaw Media where she oversaw the specialty channel programming and scheduling as both senior director and vice president of content.

Brand Momentum Inc. appointed IAN GOOD to national client services manager in the sales and merchandising division. Ian was most recently with Consumer Impact Marketing where he managed sales and merchandising programs for Hain-Celestial Canada, Parmalat, Scotts Canada and Imperial Oil Limited.

Praxis PR promoted LIZ LUZZA and MARGARET ANTKOWSI to vice-president and senior account director, respectively. Luzza has been with the firm for 10 years. Her responsibilities include strategic planning, senior client counsel and new business development. In her new role, Antkowski will manage client relationships and provide strategic counsel as well as staff development and metoring.

Hill+Knowlton Strategies Canada promoted DAVID RODIER and hired MIKE STORESHAW to vice-president roles in its Ottawa practice. Rodier will continue to provide bilingual executive training services and integrated public affairs and communications advice to clients. During this career, Storeshaw has provided strategic communications counsel to members of parliament and on government-wide initiatives including the federal budget.
