JIM LITTLE is moving out west. The chief brand and communications officer for RBC is joining Shaw Communications in April as its CMO. Little described the newly created position as one that will help unify “Shaw’s various cable and media products under a cohesive consumer-facing brand.”
ED MCNALLY, founder of Alberta’s Big Rock Brewery, announced his retirement. ROBERT SARTOR, the former CEO of Calgary-based Forzani Group, will replace him.
Yukon agency Outside the Cube added PATRIC CHAUSSE as creative director and EMILIE JOSLIN as a graphic/web designer and writer. During his 18-year career, Chausse has worked with such clients as the Yukon Workers’ Compensation Health and Safety Board, Yukon Health and Social Services, Parks Canada and Aboriginal and Northern Affairs Canada. Joslin has worked in the Yukon’s tourism industry for more than three years, most recently with the Tourism Industry Association of the Yukon (TIAY).
Hill+Knowlton Strategies Canada added four members to its team. JEAN-YVES JULIEN, MARCEL TREMBLAY and MARTIN BRIAND join the firm’s Quebec City office as special health and pharmaceutical advisor, special advisor, and public and government affairs director, respectively. Meanwhile, SEBASTIEN DHAVERNAS joins the montreal office as special advisor.
