On The Move: Additions at FCB Toronto, Grip and McMillan

A weekly update of who's headed where in Canadian marketing and communication

KRISTY PLECKAITIS joined FCB Toronto as an experience planner. In this role, Pleckaitis will grow FCB Toronto’s capacity to lead UX strategy for new and existing businesses and will also chart the customer experience journey to help FCB build campaigns that take full advantage of the opportunities digital technology and channels have opened up. Before joining FCB, she was a user experience designer at Nurun where she worked on business for Ontario Lottery Group, WestJet, and Metro, and was previously a user experience designer at Bell Media.

Grip Limited hired KRISTINA ROTOLO as a senior interactive producer. There she will manage across all brand accounts. Previously, Rotolo was a senior project manager at Klick Health where she worked for more than a year on several key accounts. She has more than eight years of project management experience on digital, print, video production, broadcast and social platforms.

Ottawa-based B2B creative agency, McMillan, added three to its strategic services team. LUBNA SADIK joined the company as a senior strategist, following engagements with Chicago-based Arment Dietrich and Canada Post. She has 18 years of experience building marketing strategies for B2B and B2C clients. MICHAEL MCDONALD-BERASKOW joined the team as a strategist after working for Leo Burnett in Toronto, and brings a focus on social media and digital strategy. He has worked with clients including IKEA and Enbridge. Lastly, MAXINE PATENAUDE was hired as an engagement strategist.

Ketchum Public Relations Canada hired JARRAD BLYTH as a senior digital strategist. He most recently held a similar position at Rogers Communications, and also worked at McDonald’s Canada and Fleischman Hillard in Australia. Ketchum also added LAURA TULLEY as a senior account executive. Tulley was mostly recently a senior consultant at Hill and Knowlton, and prior to that was at NATIONAL Public Relations.

Jumbleberry hired two new executives, promoted one and announced a new addition to its board of directors. COLE DIAMOND was named VP of sales, ROSA FRANZESE was named VP of human resources and ALBERT LUK was promoted from Jumbleberry’s VP of legal to VP of operations. Meanwhile, JAMES DELANEY, formerly president and chief executive officer of Marketwired, was appointed to Jumbleberry’s board of directors.

Nuglif hired CHRISTOPHER PRINOS as its new VP of sales. A founding member of Mediaspectrum, Prinos spent over 15 years as a leader across multiple disciplines including marketing, pre-sales, business development and project management.
