Razorfish hired JIM REYNOLDS as director, client partner at its office in Toronto, where he will provide counsel on ecommerce strategy to the agency’s Canadian retail client base, in partnership with its celebrated North American commerce practice. Reynolds was previously director of ecommerce product management at Indigo; he’s also worked on ecommerce businesses at Walmart Canada and Sears, where he was associate VP of Sears.ca user experience.
Online data collection and consumer research firm AskingCanadians promoted AMBER BARTLETT to director of sales. Bartlett was previously senior sales manager, having been with the company since 2011. She will continue to manage her existing client accounts while overseeing growth of the AskingCanadians sales support team.
Zulu Alpha Kilo welcomed three former TBWA creatives: ALLEN OKE, NICHOLAS DOERR and GUILHERME BERMEJO. Oke, who spent the last ten years at TBWA Toronto (and the last three as ECD), will be an ECD at Zulu, working alongside existing ECD Ron Smrczek. Over his 18-year career Oke’s work for TBWA, as well as Lowe Roche, DDB and JWT, has been featured at multiple international awards shows, including his work on Halls’ “Fore” ads and Gatorade’s recent “Sledge Hockey.” The creative duo of copywriter Doerr and art director Bermejo, both at TBWA for the past four years, recently won six golds at the ADCC and are shortlisted for multiple 2015 Marketing Awards for their work on Nissan.
U.K. ad tech company Quantcast appointed TINA BARNES as its new head of Canadian sales in Toronto. Barnes comes from digital ad network Adconion (now part of Amobee), where she was VP managing director for six years, and before that director of sales.
Cummins Partners brought on a new partner and VP client services, CHERYL GOSLING. Gosling comes most recently from Union Creative, where she was a group account director. Over the past fifteen years, she’s also held senior sales roles at Grip, BBDO, Leo Burnett and Cossette.
Twitter Canada hired CAMERON GORDON as senior communications manager. Gordon’s background in PR includes work for Zeno Group, Hill+Knowlton and High Road.
