FCB Toronto appointed KINGA KARADI as VP of operations. Over the past two years Karadi ran her own boutique consulting firm. Before that, she was senior director of sales and strategy optimization at Klick Health. Also joining the FCB team are three new art directors, KRISTEN STACKHOUSE, NAEEM WALJI, and GIRA MOIN, and copywriter, SABIHA CHAUDRY.
Jackman Reinvents promoted CAROL-ANN GRANATSTEIN to VP marketing, where she will continue to build the consulting firm’s profile in the U.S. and Canada. Granatstein was hired a year ago as director of marketing and media relations. Before that, she was director of marketing at Cundari.
The Globe and Mail made two senior additions to its content studio’s senior management team. SEAN STANLEIGH was promoted from product manager, Globe Drive and Report on Small Business, to managing editor of The Globe Content Studio, where he will be responsible for all custom and native content in digital and magazine formats. MICHAEL GRIER was hired as new business director, having previously worked at Totem, where he managed the U.S. and Canadian business development team.
International TV distribution company Proper Rights appointed JENN KUZMYK as director of distribution for sales to Scandinaiva, Benelux, Middle East and German-speaking markets. Before joining Proper Rights, Kuzmyk worked with Toronto’s Boxing Cats Productions and was VP of development at Cream Productions.
Vancouver production company Paperny Entertainment brought on a new EP and managing director, CAROLINE CHRISTOPHER. A veteran of NBC Universal, ABC News, Storyville Entertainment and National Geographic, Christopher will oversee development, financing and production of new TV and digital projects for U.S. and international markets.
