Free For All Marketing welcomed SVP CHRISTINE ROSS, former co-founder and managing director of Spider Marketing, a boutique agency specializing in shopper marketing. Ross has experience in social, experiential, digital and integrated campaigns from a decade at Spider and earlier work for Marketing Drive Canada and CTV. She has been executive director of the Canadian Agencies Practicing Marketing Activation for 11 years.

Woodruff Sweitzer hired its first Toronto-based account director, MAZEN TANNIR, to manage sales for Toronto and central Canada. Tannir was most recently an account director and communications planner for Padulo Integrated, a retail specialty agency, and before that was a business development and communications manager for BEI Canada. He has worked with brands ranging from PC Financial, to Rexall, KPMG and Audi.

CHARLENE ROOKE became chief content officer at Canada Wide Media and publisher of BCBusiness and BCLiving. Before joining Canada Wide, Rooke was editorial director of The Globe and Mail’s custom content group in Toronto, where she oversaw development and delivery of all sponsored content and special sections across the Globe’s digital and print platforms. She has also been editor in chief of Western Living, where she developed the Designer of the Year Awards.

GMR Marketing brought on LINDSAY BARRY as director of client services and social media in Toronto. Barry comes to GMR from Taxi where she managed the Telus account. Before that she was a project manager at Critical Mass.

Atomic Clock Cinematic Arts relaunched as Padley Media Group, with a new focus on high-profile fashion clients like Mode Media, Holt Renfrew, Clairol and Procter & Gamble. Grant Padley, Atomic Clock founder and executive producer of 15 years, said PMG plans to expand on Atomic’s offering and build out a new team of producers and creatives.

EMILY CORNELIUS left a position as marketing communications manager at AOL, where she was handling Canadian public relations, and joined Toronto startup BitGold. At the new company she will lead PR and digital marketing.
