MARIE JOSEE LAMOTHE, chief marketing officer and chief communications officer at L’Oréal Canada, announced she is parting ways with the Montreal-based cosmetics and beauty company. Her last day is Feb. 28. Lamothe has been with the company for nearly 12 years, holding a number of senior-level positions including international marketing director, and VP, general manager, luxury brands.
ANTHONY P. SHEEHAN joined Soshal as vice-president to help grow its office in Ottawa. Sheehan was most recently the director of consulting services at Macadamian. He has also held positions at Taleo, Ubisoft and Microsoft.
Media City welcomed PETER KIRIAKOPOULOS back to its sales team as senior account director. Kiriakopoulos worked with the Toronto-based agency from 2003-2005 before joining Alliance Atlantis Broadcasting (now Shaw) as national account executive, followed by stints at Corus and Java Joe’s Franchise Services.
Davis + Henderson Corporation appointed DUNCAN HANNAY as president of D+H Canada. He is responsible for building the firm’s Canadian business. Most recently, he held the senior vice-president of marketing position for Scotiabank’s Canadian Banking division. He also served on the boards of Scotia Capital Inc. and Scene LP.
BRANDON GROSVENOR has been appointed vice-president of Microsoft Advertising in Canada. Reporting to Carlos de Torres, he’s set to start in late March after serving as senior vice-president of sales for Postmedia Network.
