Olson has a new president. Postmedia has a new VP of regional ad sales.

Digital marketing agency, Olson, promoted MIKE BROWN from vice-president of client services to president of its Canadian operations. He replaces Michael Carter, who left the agency at the end of the summer. Filling Brown’s old role is KRIS MATHESON, who spent the last 10 years with Artisan Complete. Also joining the agency is creative director Geoff Lee, who has held positions at SapientNitro, Proximity and MacLaren McCann.
KRISTIE PAINTING, former general manager and vice-president of sales and marketing for Olive Media, was tapped to lead sales at Checkout 51. JOHN ALEXIOU joined the app developer as director of consumer insights. He was most recently director of customer information at McCain Foods.
Postmedia Network appointed JEFF FUNTASZ to the position of regional vice-president of advertising sales, prairie region. During his career, Funtasz has held a number of senior executive positions at companies such as Bell and Rogers. Most recently he was vice-president, sales and marketing for Seroyal International. In his new role, Funtasz is responsible for advertising sales operations for print, online, tablet and smartphone properties at the Calgary Herald, Edmonton Journal, The StarPhoenix and Leader-Post.
RMW Music named MARK RAJAKOVIC partner in the Toronto-based company. RAJAKOVIC has been with RMW Music for four years and has worked with big name brands such as KIA Canada and Pepsi.
DAC Group promoted SCOTT ENSIGN from director of paid search to vice-president of paid search. Ensign has quickly moved through the ranks since joining the company in 2006. During his time at DAC Group he has also held the senior digital strategist, digital account director and digital planner roles.
