Cossette named ANDREA COOK as its senior vice-president, national client lead at its Toronto office. Cook spent the past four years as SVP, managing director at Proximity where she led and managed the digital marketing account for Campbell’s across North America. She has also worked at agencies such as DDB, TBWA, Grey Advertising and Bensimon Byrne.
Twitter Canada hired Globe and Mail media reporter STEVE LADURANTAYE to run news and government partnerships within the company’s media group. Prior to joining the Toronto-based newspaper in 2007, Ladurantaye was a reporter for Peterborough Examiner and Kingston Whig-Standard.
Popular blogger, CASIE STEWART, joined GelaSkins as social media director. She was most recently with Community, a small Toronto-based agency that works on campaigns for clients like LiveNation, Heineken and Bacardi.
SOPHIE CÔTÉ LAPLANTE joined online men’s magazine, AskMen.com, as its public relations and digital marketing manager. Laplante was most recently with Sonic Boom, as account managers. She has also held positions at public relations firms including National and Cohn & Wolfe.
FleishmanHillard promoted ANGELA CARMICHAEL to senior vice-president, partner and general manager of its Toronto office. Carmichael has been with the firm for five years. She has also held senior level positions with IMB, GCI Group and Hill and Knowlton.
Cheil Canada named Lindsay Prajza as its VP, director of client services to oversee the agency’s 10-member client services group. She will also have a hand in developing new business. Prajza was most recently with Evidently, where she held the VP, North America position for nearly a year. She has also held positions at Ogilvy & Mather’s Toronto office and BBDO, Havas and McCann in the U.K.
After 30 years with Molson Coors Canada, FERG DEVINS is leaving his current post as chief corporate affairs officer to open his own Toronto-based consultancy firm called TheDevinsNetwork. Devins will continue to work with Molson Coors Canada and is also seeking additional clients from across Canada.
