The Toronto office of Organic, a San Francisco-based digitally focused agency, has hired Lezlie Grossman as its general manager, replacing David Feldt, who has left the company.

Grossman comes from neighbouring Toronto agency Capital C, where she served as managing director for two years. Prior to that she was senior vice-president and general manager of MacLaren McCann.

Organic also recently hired Anthony Wolch as executive creative director, the same title he held at TBWAToronto, an agency he only joined last June from Publicis Helsinki.

At Organic, Grossman said she’ll lead the business development, client service, operations and account planning teams.

“What drew me here at this time was their vision,” she said. “It’s one that’s really leading edge. They want to go beyond what is typically seen in this market as a digital agency and be a digital communication agency. I think the work they’re doing is really exciting.”

With other offices in New York, Detroit and Los Angeles that aspire to work seamlessly as a single office, Organic counts American Express, Nike Canada and Procter & Gamble among its clients.

After ending his four-year tenure at Organic in August, former general manager Feldt founded JazLabs, a Toronto-based business incubation and strategic consultancy firm.
