It seems Charlie is losing his Sheen. The party boy, er, middle-aged man, and Two and a Half Men star continued a series of on-air rants yesterday with a live, uncensored interview with celebrity gossip site TMZ. Soon after, Sheen’s longtime publicist Stan Rosenfield tendered his resignation. Rosenfield, whose celebrity clients include George Clooney, Robert De Niro and Helen Mirren, worked with Sheen through his very public divorce of Denise Richards and charges of domestic violence against ex-wife Brooke Mueller.

After hearing the news of the resignation, Sheen told TMZ, “P**sy. He’s not allowed to quit, so you’re fired.”

Sheen’s recent misadventures, which include wild partying and three hospitalizations in three months, had Rosenfield working overtime. Earlier this week CBS and Warner Brothers Television discontinued production of Two and a Half Men after Sheen called the show’s producer Chuck Lorre a “contaminated little maggot.” It remains to be seen if Sheen will replace Rosenfield, but you can jump in the fray by letting Marketing know: How would you handle Sheen’s PR woes?
