Proximity Canada has made three new additions to its executive team, all offering what president Dave Lafond described in a release as “integrated and innovative thinking” and “digital acumen.”

Both Christina Hill and Ricky Jacobs have jointed the Omnicom agency in the role of vice-president, managing director, while Jeff Sangster has been named senior VP, technology. All three appointments are effective immediately.

Hill has more than 15 years of experience and arrives at Proximity following a six-year stint with Taxi, where she launched its Calgary office and served as managing director of Taxi 2. Most recently, she was general manager of the flagship Taxi office, overseeing the Telus account.

Jacobs has spent 11 years in digital and social marketing, with stops at agencies including Cossette, Y&R and Publicis Modem. He has led assignments for numerous clients including Ford, Bell, Rogers, LG, Walmart and Kia.

Sangster comes to Proximity with over 20 years of experience in the technology sector. After spending eight years at TD Bank, a stint that included overseeing the launch of the EasyWeb online banking system and WebBroker trading, he has spent the past 12 years with agencies including Grip Limited, Henderson Bas and Publicis.
