FCB has appointed Rachelle Claveau president of its Montreal office.

Claveau is taking over for Danièle Perron, who is leaving the shop at the end of the year to “take on a new challenge,” according to a release.

Prior to joining FCB Montreal as vice-president and managing director in August, Claveau served as vice-president, business lead at Cossette’s Montreal office, and prior to that held various roles within Cossette’s account department.

“We are thrilled to have Rachelle head up our Montréal office,” said Tim Bowen, chief executive officer, FCB Canada in a statement. “With her proven experience in both brand building and CRM gained in large part during her 12 years working in senior positions at Cossette, she is recognized as a strong leader who champions creativity and adds strategic value.”

“We have a tremendous amount of talent in our office supported by a strong FCB network in Canada and worldwide,” said Claveau in a release. “We also enjoy a good deal of autonomy thanks to FCB’s management philosophy and I can’t wait to take the Montréal team to the next level.”
