Havergal College has selected Red Lion as its ad agency of record.
The Toronto-based boarding school has tasked Red Lion with reviewing its brand within the marketplace of private schools. Moving forward, the agency will handle all of Havergal’s marketing initiatives.
The selection comes after a formal RFP process, which took about eight weeks from the school’s request to its final decision.
Matt Litzinger, president and chief creative officer at Red Lion, said in a release the independent girls school is “the type of client partner for whom Red Lion is continually searching.”
“Not only do they have a legacy of continuing to impact the world through the education of young women, but also they have a fundamental understanding of the importance of strategy and creativity,” he said.
Louise Yearwood, executive director of advancement and community relations at Havergal College, added, “Red Lion illustrated a strong understanding of our opportunities and challenges and a desire to work with us in order to develop a creative strategy that will move us forward into the future.”
Over the summer Havergal and the agency will come up with a new approach for the school’s marketing. According to Red Lion, the school expects new creative to go to market next year.
