The Siren Group is on a roll, having announced three new accounts in the past week. “This is a testament to the fact that word of mouth works because all these wins are through referrals,” president Susan Willemsen told Marketing‘s PR Filter.

Just in time for TIFF, The Toronto-based independent PR shop was named PR agency of record for Liberty Entertainment, which owns a number of dining and entertainment venues in Toronto including the new Cibo Wine Bar, Liberty Grand, Rosewater, Courthouse, C Lounge and Spice Route.

The agency also won the PR assignment for The Thai Select Cuisine program, a marketing initiative developed by the Thai government that recognizes the authenticity of a restaurant’s Thai pedigree. The assignment includes social media, media relations, sponsorships, speaking engagements and special events including promoting Linda Modern Thai restaurant, the first Canadian restaurant in the program.

Lastly, The Siren Group won the PR assignment for enRoute magazine’s Best New Restaurants awards, and will handle media and stakeholder relations as well as social media.
