Starcom MediaVest Group (SMG) is partnering with BCP to “further bolster deeper capabilities and consumer understanding in the Québec marketplace,” according to an announcement made Monday.
“Aligning with BCP gives us deeper integration, insights into local consumers, and a more seamless capability to reach Québec audiences, which we can leverage to solidify our footprint in this market,” said Bruce Neve, CEO of SMG, in a release.
Carol Ann Kairns, executive vice-president and general manager at BCP, will see her role expand to include executive vice-president of Starcom MediaVest Group Québec.
In her new role, Kairns will oversee SMG Canada’s growth strategy in the province, drive media operations and participate in market development.
“The addition of a talent like Carol Ann, who is well-known and respected in the Québec marketplace for her proven track record, will also bolster capabilities, forge synergies, and most importantly results for our clients looking to reach consumers across both English and French speaking audiences in Canada,” said Neve.
