Student Price Card (SPC) announced Tuesday that it has chosen Rethink Canada as its new agency partner. The agency has been engaged for brand, design and advertising needs, and the account will be handled primarily out of Rethink’s Toronto office.

“We choose Rethink because of their experience and creative firepower” said Dean Mazzariol, president of SPC, in a release. “As our business and brand evolve, we want the right agency by our side.”

The agency’s first work will hit the market in August, beginning with the annual card design and back-to-school campaign.

SPC is a student loyalty program with more than one million members. It offers discounts at more than 100 retail chains including Aldo, American Eagle Outfitters, Forever 21 and Pizza Pizza.

Rethink was founded in 1999 and has offices in Toronto and Vancouver. Its client roster includes Molson Canadian, Shaw, and Mr. Lube.
