Tact hires four, adds graphic design service

Montreal agency adds former MétéoMédia journalist to its team

Tact Intelligence-conseil has added a former MétéoMédia journalist to its team, among four new hires at the Montreal and Quebec City communications agency.

Marco Parent has been hired as a senior consultant after several years as a host on the French language counterpart of The Weather Network.

Amélie Croussette has been hired as a consultant. Crousette spent almost four years as an event and project manager at the suicide prevention association, Association québécoise de prévention du suicide, where she helped launch a number of awareness and public relations campaigns.

The agency has also hired Cristina Annunzi as a consultant. Annunzi, who was the first recipient of a Tact scholarship awarded to a third-year public relations and communications student at the Université du Québec à Montréal, previously worked at the firm as an intern.

Tact has also launched a new integrated graphic design service, which will be headed by new graphic designer hire Geneviève Breton, who previously worked at the head office of a school board and at various communications agencies in Sherbrooke.

“This new service will allow Tact to support its many clients in the development of new visual identities and creative graphic design strategies that meet their needs,” said Tact founding partner Daniel Matte, in a statement.

Founded in 2011, Tact has about 35 employees and specializes in public relations and government affairs. It claims to be the largest 100% Quebec-owned communications agency in the province.
