Toronto-based The Communications Group Inc. has rebranded as TCGPR.

The rebrand includes a revamped website, a new logo with the company name in a speech bubble, and a new tagline: “PR consultants to newsmakers.”

As the PR firm celebrates its 40th anniversary this year, partner David Eisenstadt said it was time for a refresh. But the agency didn’t have to look far for its new brand—or change its URL or social media handles. “From the first day of the internet, our URL was TCGPR, so we’ve been staring at the brand since the first day we were able to [go online],” said Eisenstadt.

TCGPR focuses on getting high-impact news coverage for clients in the real estate, retail, technology, professional services and not-for-profit industries. The website puts media coverage about its clients front and centre, with eight current news stories in rotation.

“We’re in the business of generating coverage for clients and our clients make news,” said Eisenstadt. “We think our website reflects that.”
