Monday is the final 2016 Marketing Awards deadline

The final deadline to enter the 2016 Marketing Awards is fast approaching – and we mean it this time.

Applicants now have until Monday, March 14 at 11:59 EST, to submit their entries to this year’s awards program. But that’s it! Soon after the deadline, our online jury will be starting the voting process and awards adjudication will be underway.

As mentioned in our earlier post, there were some important updates made to the categories this year, particularly in the Multicultural Marketing Awards and in our Film and Digital categories. This year we’ve sought to better define the audience that a piece of creative work is intended for, particularly when it comes to video productions. In recent years we’ve also had a growing number of entries in increasingly diverse formats in both the Public Service and Multicultural Marketing categories, and we’ve sought to expand the number of categories available in these fields to reflect a changing marketing landscape.

Be sure to have a close read of the category descriptions, requirements and specifications on the 2016 Marketing Awards website to make sure your submissions follow all of the rules and regulations, and that you’re submitting the right kind of documentation for all of your applications. One thing we hope you’ll find easier to use this year is our brand new entry site, powered by Canadian company Blaze Studios. The new entry site can accept virtually any file type, which we hope will simplify the production phase and make it easier to submit your work for consideration.

We look forward to seeing your submissions, and we’re especially excited to hand over some Gold M trophies at the 2016 Marketing Awards Gala, taking place June 2 in Toronto. Tickets will become available after the call for entries has closed.

Don’t forget to mark your calendars – the deadline to enter 2016 Marketing Awards is now Monday, March 14 at 11:59 p.m. EST.

Seriously, no more extensions.
