Responsible for growing the integrated planning department, Demopoulos will also oversee a team of strategists that work on the agency’s Toronto-based clients such as Canadian Tire, Cialis, General Mills, Johnson & Johnson and McDonald’s Canada.

Demopoulos has more than 10 years industry experience working with national and global brands including Ford, General Motors, Hewlett Packard, Pepsi, Quaker, Sears and Tropicana.

“A skilled marketer and a passionate creative leader, Dino’s unique expertise in the digital realm, and his proficiency as a brand planner will no doubt change the way consumers view, behave and interact with our clients’ brands moving forward,” said Andrew McCartney, managing director, Tribal DDB Toronto, in a release.

He was most recently head of strategy at MacLaren MRM where he led the integrated department on digital and traditional strategy.

“I was attracted to DDB Canada for its strongly collaborative culture, its dedication to creativity and for its commitment to shaping the future of marketing,” said Demopoulos.
