Watch This: A rhyme for mom (Babies R Us)

The retailer sings some Mothers Day praises in this new spot from Open

From teaching her children how to tie their shoes and kissing it better when they have a bruise, Babies “R” Us is celebrating mom and all of the wonderful things she does in a 45-second film from Toronto agency Open.

The film, which will be posted on the retailer’s Facebook page and website on Mother’s Day this Sunday, uses a mixture of animation and live action and is told from a child’s perspective. A 30-second version will run as pre -oll on YouTube.

“The end line  – such a small word for such a big job – really sums it up,” said Martin Beauvais, creative partner at Open. “Nothing compares and we set out to really dramatize that in an emotional way.”
