Agency Wars, the annual charitable boxing tournament (that Marketing is proud to partner with) has released its own recruitment video in advance of this year’s event.
The fundraiser, which benefits NABS and Ronald McDonald House, takes place in November, but in order to get in shape and become accredited with sanctioning body Boxing Ontario, the fighters have to start training in September. So time is short to convince those on the fence.
In addition to 24 brave souls they want in the ring, Agency Wars is also hunting for sponsors and partners. It has a number of returning partners, including Clancy’s Boxing Academy (run by event founder Michael Clancy), the Fight Network, Corporate Media Solutions, and Tattoo Sound + Music.
Marketing covered an early recruitment drive for MarketingTV, asking former fighters why normally desk-bound agency types should get involved.
