Dogs can be divas, too. This spot from Red Urban for Pet Trust (made possible through the generosity of Red Urban’s client, Purina) is an attempt to drive donations for pet cancer research and treatment.

Christina Yu, Red Urban executive creative director and diva dog owner (her pooch Ralph appears in a “Beiber-like” role at 1:12), confirms that it is indeed difficult to work with animals. Her cast of more than 20 canines were on set for more than 14 hours to get enough footage for the two minute spot.

Currently, the video is online-only, but drives to PetTrust.ca where pet owners can donate, read a few heart-warming stories and even edit footage of their dogs and cats into the production.
