Weber Shandwick names EVP of creative and strategy

Robyn Adelson has been named executive vice-president, strategy and creative of Weber Shandwick Canada in Toronto.

Adelson will lead strategic planning and creative development and work with executive vice-president and creative director Peter Matheson Gay to bolster the firm’s creative capabilities.

Adelson joins Weber Shandwick from Edelman where she spent 12 years building and overseeing the firm’s planning and creative team across Canada, as well as leading the consumer marketing practice. She has developed award-winning campaigns for such brands as Kraft, Mondelez, Hasbro, Indigo Books & Music, Expedia.ca and Petro-Canada.

“Robyn is known for driving holistic and integrated programs with social value and earned conversation at the core,” said Greg Power, president, Weber Shandwick Canada, in a statement. “She has a strong track record of developing insightful, creative strategy, transforming client relationships and building collaborative teams.
