Cossette has appointed Cameron Wilson as digital creative director of its Montreal office.
After almost two years working in Bangalore, India, as interactive creative director for Ogilvy & Mather, and a short period as a freelancer, Wilson has returned to his hometown’s ad scene.
He is set to work on Aeroplan as well on Home Depot, Royal Canadian Mint, Perfetti Van Melle, General Mills, La Presse, Roche Diagnostic and Tourism Montreal.
“I’m glad to be back home, where the work pace is more interesting. More work can be done here in less time. People are more efficient, pro and sharp, especially at Cossette,” said Wilson, who has also worked in Scotland and the Bahamas. His Canadian experience also includes Sid Lee and Bos.
“Cameron is incredibly versatile,” said Antoine Bécotte, chief creative director at Cossette, in a release. “He has a proven track record in graphic design, illustration, animation and interactive design. Throughout his career he has successfully straddled both sides of the creative and technological fence. His experience around the world makes him a unique resource, and I’m sure he will be a great asset to our clients.”
