To promote its One Show award programs, the One Club has partnered with Mullen for an online video game that pits players against some recognizable advertising icons.
Boston-based Mullen crafted a retro-styled game starring “Jon Scraper” trying to make it to the One Show. The opposing characters and scenery are comprised of characters from ad campaigns past and present.
The game went live Thursday and is free to play.
The game works on desktop computers, smartphones and tablets.
“We’re hoping this crazy ad game becomes sticky, ” said Mark Wenneker, CCO at Mullen. “The One Show is a perfect place to see how people like it.”
