How brands can use Facebook Paper
Facebook recently announced the launch of a mobile app called Facebook Paper that curates news from media publishers based on the user’s interests. Rather than a traditional news feed, Facebook Paper arranges stories in a grid pattern. While its focus is news, Facebook Paper is still a social platform with friend request and share story functions clearly visible. Marketing in the U.K. outlines the way in which marketers can use the app to their advantage.

Target collaborates with Pinterest users
In an effort to “celebrate tastemakers,” Target has chosen three popular Pinterest users to collaborate with on a new project. The consumers, Joy Cho of Oh Joy!, Jan Halvarson of Poppytalk, and Kate Arends of Wit & Delight will help Target design a “party planning collection” that will include everything from whimsical banners and sparkly party hats to gold-rimmed cups that range in price from $3 to $25.”
