Heineken puts focus on aspiring filmmakers
Heineken and its creative agency, Wieden+Kennedy, have teamed up on a new contest aimed at wannabe filmmakers. The call-to-action, dubbed #15secondpremiere, incorporates a popular film festival (the Tribeca Film Festival, for which Heineken is official beer sponsor) and a beloved social platform (Twitter). Aspiring filmmakers are being prompted to pitch their film concepts through Twitter for the chance to have their film screened.

GrubHub giving away free food on Snapchat
The delivery site GrubHub is rewarding consumers for their phone art skills by giving away free orders to people who respond to their challenges on Snapchat. For example, GrubHub will send out a Snapchat asking for food doodles and then choose 10 of the best drawings to receive $50 in free food. “We know that the platform is popular with college students, which is an important audience for us — GrubHub has a presence on college campuses across the country,” said a GrubHub rep.
