Grocery products get a luxury brand makeover
Ever wonder what it would look like if Versace made eggs? What about if Tiffany & Co. made oranges? The Israel-based artist Paddy Mergui created a series of photographs of exactly that: a world where high-end brands line the aisles of grocery stores. The photos are currently on exhibit at The Museum of Craft and Design in San Francisco, but you you can also see them at the link below.

Nike runs from FuelBand, concentrates on software
Nike has decided to pull the plug on its FuelBand, the activity tracker it launched in 2012, according to a report on tech news site CNET. Instead, Nike will focus on software and app development. As many of 55 people were let go from the company’s 70-person hardware team, which is part of Nike’s Digital Sports division.

Aereo service gets its day in Supreme Court
A small “pimple” of a startup could shake up the broadcasting world in the U.S. The startup in question, Aereo, uses remote antennas to capture broadcast TV signals and store them in the cloud, enabling people to watch them on various devices of their choice. Adios cable box and bon voyage cable bill. There’s a case in the Supreme Court right now that will rule whether or not the service is exploiting copyrighted works.
