Chanel to take legal action over Toronto art installation
An art installation in Toronto’s East Danforth neighbourhood is causing quite a stir. Over the weekend, boarding promising a new Chanel location was erected between a pawn shop and a pest control service. The artist said it “explores post-gentrification” while the luxury retailer said had it been notified of the project, it would have worked with the artist on making it look more authentic.

New leader will drive Ford into future
Driverless cars are no longer a Jetsons-esque pipe dream. If Google has its way, they’ll be a reality on the roadway in just a few years. That builds in an added level of pressure for Ford’s new CEO, Mark Fields, who will shortly be taking over the car company from predecessor, Alan Mulally. Fields will oversee nearly two dozen new models rolling out this year as industry watchers eagerly wait to see how he may reshape the company and its brand.
