Coca-Cola’s Canadian HQ mixes business with loungers
Coca-Cola’s office in Toronto was recently designed by local shop Figure 3 for a space features a kitchen with a custom-milled island, funky recycled cardboard light pendants from Amsterdam and a sunny three-storey atrium. Plus, a custom wall sculpture constructed from—of course—bottle caps.

Food makers using big data to improve shopping experience

Outtake from Sidney Crosby’s Reebok ad
An outtake from the ad Sidney Crosby shot for Reebok this summer is making the rounds on the social web. The Toronto Star seems to think it’s a legit outtake but it looks more like a brand-crafted viral hoax to us, not unlike this video of Kobe Bryant jumping over a car that turned out to be a shoe commercial.

MasterCard relaunches newsroom
MasterCard has relaunched its brand newsroom with a spiffy new name: The Engagement Bureau. According to Jennifer Stalzer, vice president of global digital communications at MasterCard, the newsroom aims to PR reps into “digital ambassadors,” but with a name like the Engagement Bureau we’d rather have read that Homeland’s Carrie Mathison is in charge.
