Wind Mobile bidder takes jabs at Canadian government
At one point Naguib Sawiris was interested in purchasing Wind Mobile. But after the government branded the Egyptian billionaire’s interest in purchasing the telecom a “national security concern,” Sawiris had some choice words about Canada. Speaking to Ahram Online, Sawiris vowed not to invest “even a single penny” in Canada and called the government’s decision to block the sale “totally a farce.”

Canadian projects raise 3.2 million on Kickstarter
In just one month Canadian projects have brought in 3.2 million dollars in crowding funding on Kickstarter. More than 47,000 consumers have donated money to 301 projects registered in Canada since the crowd funding service launched here on Sept. 9, proving Canadians are interested in both crowd funding and products developed through non-traditional means.
